Film Under the Stars-July 10
The Mount Shasta International Film Festival is proud to present their annual “Film Under the Stars,” on July 10th at 7pm on the Mount Shasta Resort driving range. Our film this year is TOY STORY (the original)
Every year we show a classic family film. For instance we have shown: Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, ET, Nemo, Shrek, The Wizard of Oz. The children dress in costumes which are judged by volunteers. Every child who enters will win a gift, because everyone is a winner.
Every year our volunteers walk to all the family and friends on blankets under the stars with free chocolates, candy and lolly pops.
The Community Resource Center directors throughout Siskiyou County contact low income families so they can attend the film for free. They are encouraged to bring their families. We also give free invites to Hospice workers and their families.
Tickets are sold that night before the film at the driving range and at the Village Books in Mount Shasta. The annual “Film Under the Stars,” is a fantastic community event. Everyone has fun watching a film under the stars in front of our beautiful mountain.
