Sarah Patania is a Northern California native who received her esthetician’s license through Citrus Heights Beauty College in June 2000. She immediately went to work for Redding Dermatology, where she worked closely with the doctor and physicians assistant to create and implement individual skin care regimens for patients. In addition, she was able to use the well-known skin care makeup, Jane Iredale, to do corrective and special occasion makeup. From there she went to work for Mirage Day Spa, while also freelancing for M.A.C. Cosmetics in Redding.
After relocating to Mt. Shasta with her husband in 2002, she went to work as a loan processor for Delta Financial while she did independent sales on the side for The Body Shop at Home. More recently she has had the privilege to work with Sacred Mountain Spa and was introduced to Bare Escentuals makeup. After the birth of her daughter in 2007 she wanted to spend more time at home and in 2008 decided to make her longtime passion into a profession when she opened About Face.
