Attending the Ribbon Cutting for Shasta Pinnacle are from left to right: Board Member Elizabeth Mitchell-Collord of Community Health Plan of the Siskiyous, Chamber Membership Coordinator Barbara Valenzuela, Owner Randy Holub, Chamber Board President Vince Reinig of Northland Communications.
Shasta Pinnacle is now open for business. Randy Holub owner/chef and his wife Marin Holub serve food using only the freshest ingredients, many of them sourced from surrounding local farms. Chef Randy hails from Wisconsin and was trained in the Cordon Blue tradition but is clearly his “own drummer” when it comes to the menu, the sauces, the right amount of spices “not too much, says Randy, or it can ruin flavors”…..he passionately aspires to serving really good food, where the quality and preparation are always foremost in his cooking endeavors.
The menu ranges from several homemade pasta dishes to an extraordinary onion burger topped with caramelized onions and garlic mayo to several Thai specialties such as Pra Ram, a choice of meat, stir-fried with peanut sauce over fresh steamed vegetables, to organic dry aged Filet Mignon, hand cut fries and several vegetarian options. The also offer fresh baked goods such as rolls, buns and breadsticks and delicious desserts.
Outside dining in the front and back are nice options on warm summer days; some tables have views of Mt. Shasta. Serving Breakfast Lunch and Dinner, Shasta Pinnacle is open for your dining needs and located 1013 S. Mt. Shasta Blvd., Mount Shasta, California 96067.
