Mt. Shasta, rising to a height of 14,162 feet is the jewel of the Cascade Mountain Range and has long been sacred to the Native North American Indians of Northern California. The area around Mt. Shasta with its pristine glacial waters, natural mineral springs, pure mountain air and unsurpassed scenery draws thousands of spiritual tourists yearly on sacred journeys, pilgrimages, vision quests and healing retreats.
Every spring when the full moon is in Taurus, the Wesak Celebration is held for three days. Since 1950 the "I Am" Come! Pageant has been held yearly in August at the G.W. Ballard Amphitheater, by the Saint Germain Foundation.
