Ice Skating
Siskiyou Ice Rink — Skate seven days a week, November through March at the largest outdoor ice rink on the west coast. Located at Shastice Park behind Mt. Shasta High School, the rink offers extraordinary views of Mt. Shasta, the Eddys and Black Butte. Check with the Mt. Shasta Parks and Recreation District, (530) 926-2494, for public skating hours, power skating workouts, hockey games, and figure skating lessons. Skate rental, and hot drinks available at the rental and snack shop.
Visit the rink at Shastice park, Mt. Shasta- Go up Lake Street from Interstate 5, turn left on Washington, then Right on Rockfellow, then up one block to Shastice Park.
